- Choosing the right mix of measures and evaluating acceptance and effectiveness.
The solution
Lifestyle-Checks
In just 20 minutes, employees at the two locations in Aalen and Schwäbisch Gmünd receive a comprehensive insight into their own health. The areas covered include the metabolic system, body composition, lung function and cardiovascular system. The health markers are then discussed telemedically with a Mavie coach and are available in real time in the Mavie Work Portal. In addition to comprehensive explanations, the portal also provides tailored prevention offers in the areas of exercise, nutrition and mental health.
Focus on mental health
Mental illness has been on the rise for years and mental health is also playing an increasingly important role in the workplace. Mavie Work has always had programs to strengthen mental health in its portfolio and also offers stress measurement as a modular addition to the lifestyle check, which was used at VR Bank Ostalb. Using a so-called heart rate variability measurement (HRV), both the current stress level and stress resilience can be measured.
Nutrition webinar
The majority of employees at VR Bank Ostalb are also currently working from home and face the challenge of cooking fresh meals every day and maintaining a healthy diet. Mavie Work supported them with a nutrition webinar that could be attended from the comfort of their own home. The nutritionist clearly explained the basics of a balanced diet, gave specific tips for everyday life and was available to answer questions

Health is the boss's business
“Healthy and productive employees are the basis for our company's success. The overall concept of Mavie Work has convinced us - the Lifestyle-Check covers essential health points that are discussed via video with a Mavie coach. The portal also provides suggestions beyond the check-up appointment.”
Kurt Ebele (Chairman of the Management Board, VR-Bank Ostalb)
Employee Feedback
“I really liked the lifestyle check because it covers all areas. In the analysis discussion with the Mavie coach, you get valuable tips and can read up on the values in the Mavie Work Portal and get daily exercises, tips and tricks - very progressive. I think it's great that employers offer something like this because it shows that they care about their employees' health. A health offer like this is great added value.”
