At a glance

  • 50+ % employee participation rate.
  • An activation rate of up to 30% per building exceeds expectations and is significantly higher than with other measures.
  • Employees from all occupational groups are reached - from medical management to cleaning staff.
  • The lifestyle check is rated by participants with an average of 9.5 out of 10 possible points.
  • Early detection of diseases: 37% undetected chronic diseases such as diabetes & high blood pressure
  • Improvement of health: 23 % achieve improvements, e.g. in high blood pressure

Initial situation

Nursing staff are exposed to high levels of physical and mental strain and stress in everyday clinical practice. Exacerbated by the consequences of the pandemic, sickness rates among nursing staff are currently higher than ever. Particularly in industries where the health of others comes first, our own health often takes a back seat.

This is precisely where Sana Kliniken AG comes in, offering employees from all areas of the company health initiatives with Mavie Work. After a successful pilot phase with five hospitals, the offer has now been rolled out across Germany.

The challenge

  • Attracting as many employees as possible from all areas of work for the BGM
  • Creating a decentralized offer for different locations
  • Work processes of everyday hospital life and shift work must be taken into account

The solution

Implementing a modern WHM from a single source

Appointments can be booked conveniently online or by telephone. The booking times are adapted to the clinic's daily routine. Employees receive comprehensive lifestyle checks at the various locations using mobile labs. In just 20 minutes, participants learn more than 60 health markers from the metabolic system, body composition, lung function and cardiovascular system. These health markers are then discussed in an online consultation with a Mavie coach and are available in real time by email or in the Mavie Work Portal. In addition to comprehensive explanations, this portal also provides tailored prevention offers in the areas of exercise, nutrition and mental health. This provides employees with sustainable tips for a healthier everyday life.
